The weather is perfect for a bike ride! At IW Canuup Center in Lake City, we have an active group who is ready to ride. Twelve of the riders were able to get their bikes at P*e Dee Thrift, which supports our consumers with grant funds.
We will be looking for swimming pools for them by July😎!

The 32nd Annual BBQ event was a success! The day was beautiful and ticket sales were up! Thanks a bunch, to our great Duke Energy and ERS/Synergi volunteers for making the day go so smoothly. Our venue sponsors, The Continuum and Highland Park United Methodist Church provided us with great venues and our dessert coordinator, Susie Brown, had us on a sugar high from all the desserts she got for us to sell. Thank you to our superb bakery chefs who provided those desserts too! We sold out! Our top sponsors came through as always. We appreciate The Betty S. Campbell Foundation, Mr. and Mrs. Scotty Campbell, EmployReward Solutions/Synergy, Mr. Harry Patterson (Board member extraordinaire), and Tucker Medical Supply, to name a few.
As always, the Florence County Disabilities Foundation Board of Trustees can't be beat. They worked tirelessly to make sure this event still provides over 1,200 consumers so many opportunities for dental care, recreational activities, job training and so much more.
