Recently we were surprised by Allie Grace Broadhead, Miss Tennessee Valley's Teen, with a $500 donation from her Keeping Kindness Foundation. Allie Grace works during the year raising money for causes that help in the communities in which she serves. After learning about Shoals Scholar Dollars, she wanted to give back to her adoptive area as she heads into UNA as a freshman. Thank you, Allie Grace and the entire Broadhead family, for your commitment to helping local organizations.

The Shoals Scholar Dollars Board of Directors is actively searching for a new Executive Director for this unique 501c3. Our current director is planning on leaving December 31, and we want to make sure we have time to find the right person to fill this position.

We are looking for someone who is:
* Invested in the Shoals
* Energetic
* Creative
* Has superior communication skills
* Organized
* Has experience with community relations

We are so appreciative of our friend, Brynn Albretsen, and her outstanding staff at Chick-fil-A Florence for their hard work during Cookies for College month. Because of their generosity (and the community's love for their cookies😀) we were awarded a donation of $2,650! Thank you, Brynn, and to all of those who bought cookies.

Grab your coworkers, friends, family, gym buddies, Sunday School class or neighbors and put your skills to the test on the Tennessee River.
