Harleys Angels Sanctuary We are a sanctuary , taking those , that are hard to find homes for due to behavior, medical, age etc.

Harley's Angels mission is to be a resource for shelters and rescues struggling with the issue of over population. Over population of these shelters result in needless euthanasia's due to age, medical challenges or the temperament of the animals in Williamson County, Robertson County, Collin County and Tarrant County Texas. Harley's provides life-long rehabilitation and socialization opportunities

to each pet on a case by case basis and makes every attempt to get them placed in a foster home or adopted into a family through our new Senior To Senior program. When the best solution for the animal is to remain in the care of our sanctuary, they will do so and be provided with the best available care. Our sanctuary is located in Florence, Texas and we serve the greater Central Texas area. Our board members are located in different cities throughout Texas enabling us to cover more than just our immediate territory.

Not dogs, but kitties....
We don't post much about them, but the tortie girl, Sasha (top right), she came to us last year, I believe and she spent all this time in hiding and she finally decided to join the other cats and she went from p*eking at me, to jumping on the bench, while I prep the food bowls , literally an inch from me .
Amazing progress ❤️

Tuesday we had a vet appointment for Lulu and her pup Kai. Nothing major, just check up with 3 year rabies and heartworm...

Tuesday we had a vet appointment for Lulu and her pup Kai. Nothing major, just check up with 3 year rabies and heartworm test.
Everything is good .
Mom Lulu weighs 49lbs, baby Kai weighs in at 79lbs 😁.
Beautiful Lulu is 5 yrs old and she is super smart and super high energy.
Gets along with all dogs and still needs her forever home.
Kai is my heart and soul and y'all missed out on this one.😉 Too late now, he is dedicated to making me feel better, when I'm down ❤️.
Lulu can be that for you, if you give her a chance.

I am so very grateful to our Harleys Angels Sanctuary family and friends .
Today we received some more donations from our Amazon wishlist.
There were another couple bags of full moon treats, that I left with the treat jars already.

Another round of heavy thunderstorms came through last night with tons of rain , thunder and lightning. We were just drying up a little...so much for that....😳. Since the ground was still saturated, the water has nowhere to go.
Thunder and lightning went on til 1:30am 😢.
Cottages are dry, but yards are under water, as you can see ...

Trying to stay busy and get things taken care of and I decided to update our Amazon wishlist . There is a lot of items, that we need on a regular basis and also, one item I added for our Tubby, who is in need of a new cot, the only thing that has survived his path of destruction in the last years, but now shows heavy wear.
Our furkids also would love to have more treats.

I`m sure our sweet Tinker girl would approve , since she was super picky about her treats.
These pics were taken on 5-20-26...I can`t believe she is gone .
The heartache of losing our kids is never getting easier and Tinker made it my mission to keep her safe for almost 3 years , when her fright of loud "boom" noises drove her into a frenzy and utter panic😢💔.

At this point I am just hoping , that we won't get more rain.
Last night was round 3 of thunderstorms.
The ground can't absorb anymore and additional rain just makes things deeper and muddier at this point.
I haven't seen this much rain in such a short amount of time, but only once or twice in almost 33 years living in this area. The cottages are all dry, the porches are dry.....but we really need a break , so the water can recede and pens dry up....😳

After another thunderstorm coming through last night, Harleys Angels Sanctuary is still under water, well, the pens are.
All cottages are dry.
Most of the Tubby fans know, that he doesn't like to get his feet wet, which means, he will literally p*e and p**p inside his cottage, even though he has a covered porch, but no....inside the house.
So, today I walk in, armed with towels and y'all can all imagine how that went.....he grabbed the towels and ripped them out of my arm.
After a long discussion (mainly me talking and him staring at me) , trying to explain to at least p*e and p**p on the porch, he gave me the stare, that said:" and what are you gonna do about it 😳🤪...
