I know, a lot of people were really upset about what happened to this sweet little guy, as are we, but for now , we do focus on letting him decompress and spoil him.
He got a vet appointment scheduled and in the meantime his foster mom and dad show him loads of love.
He did well overnight and already gave kisses to his foster daddy. ❤️
He is in great hands now.
We will keep you updated on new developments 😉
Oh...and to really leave his old life behind, he got a new name : Charlie ❤

Sooo, here is the info, on what left us very upset yesterday.
I got a couple messages and email from the chip company yesterday morning, that one of our "adopted" dogs was found .
Little George aka Westy, who was adopted a little over 3 years ago.
We thought he had a great home , until he was picked up by animal control.
I do not know the whole story, but we were told, he was seen running loose for about a week at a local motel in Floresville.😳
Animal control picked him up and brought him to a local shelter , where he was scanned and that is , how I found out.
With the help of some wonderful people , who were able to reach the adopter(our attempts to contact resulted in no response) , they agreed to relinquish their rights to him (otherwise there would have been a 3 day hold) .
So, he was picked up this morning and will be staying with his "saviors" for now, or possibly......😉.well....we`ll take it day by day .
All his family is living close by anyways , because he came with mom, brother and sister , who are all in their loving homes, since they were adopted (we have regular contact with all of them).
We don`t know, what exactly happened or why , but I wish they would have reached out .
We tell everybody, that we will take back our dogs, if the adopters encounter problems/hardship ...etc.

I had planned to post much sooner today, but a day, that started with really wonderful news had a twist, that we were very upset about, but that will hopefully have a really happy ending.
We will update on that tomorrow, once we know more.
But we wanted to thank our most wonderful Harleys Angels Sanctuary friends and family for helping, when we need it most.
Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers, donors, no matter if monetary, in form of items, or any other help.
Everybody is very much appreciated.
Sun City pet club made a wonderful cat food donation, we had frozen meat donated, and the new A/C window units arrived today and other Amazon wishlist items arrived yesterday.
Thank you to ALL you wonderful people.
Pic of Morris, who is doing extremely well with my large pack, even though his nose is still in need of healing.
It was all nice a few days ago and then he starts licking again and it becomes all raw again.
He's been to the vet, he's been on meds, he gets pre/probiotics, and we are making progress.
He is still a very happy pup and he makes me laugh every day.
He will be up for adoption, once completely healed up.
Again, thank you all and we will update y'all on that situation, that left us all pretty upset today.

Good morning Harleys Angels Sanctuary friends and family.
We need help with getting some window AC units.
As you know, all our cottages have heat and A/C. Specially in this heat in Texas, A/C is a necessity for the furkids comfort. Temps have been at about 110 and no relief in sight.
So, Callie's and Niels unit was only blowing warm and I had cleaned it just last month.
So, we replaced it and found, it was our last one.
We like to have a couple of backups, just in case this happens, so we are able to replace them instantly.
It was not frozen, so we are not even messing with trying to fix it. This unit had been several years old anyways.
We do prefer mechanical 5000 BTU.
I added some to our Amazon wishlist, if anybody would like to order one for us ☺️❤️.
Wishlist will be in the comments.
Gary had to make the opening bigger, since this new unit was an inch too wide for the existing opening.
Air is cold again in their cottage. ☺️😍

While cooling off in the volunteer cottage, Kai took the opportunity to get some extra lovin'.
Ok, ok, Liz was folding some sheets, too 🤣🤪, while we were watching 😁.

Took sweet Sara aka Sarabi to the vet this morning, just for a routine senior checkup.
This sweet girl was so scared, that she left her breakfast in the car (throw up) 😞.
But she is just the sweetest and did really well at the vet ❤️.
Blood work results will be back next week.

We just came back from a walk, that's why he is breathing a bit hard ☺️.
