Operation Jersey Cares is a volunteer organization whose mission is to help our troops overseas as well as the returning Soldiers and Marines who have been wounded in combat.

To Help Make the Day a Success, Please Remember:

1. Promote Our Game to Family and Friends:
We still have a few seats available on our buses. If you know anyone who would enjoy a great day of baseball, while supporting the mission of Operation Jersey Cares, please invite them and have them contact me at their earliest conveniene.

2. Choose Your Sandwich:
Please reply with your sandwich selection if you have not already done so. We need everyone's choice two weeks prior to game day.

3. Pack Your Favorite Snacks and Refreshments:
Feel free to bring a small cooler with additional treats, beverages, and snacks that you would like to enjoy during the ride into and out of the city. Coolers and bags must fit under your seat on the bus.

4. Arrive Promptly at 10:30 AM:
We will meet in the Best Buy parking lot, 300 Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ. Please arrive by 10:30 AM sharp so we can check everyone in and stay on schedule.

5. Pick Up Your Lunch Before Boarding:
Prior to boarding the bus, you will receive your lunch. Your name will be clearly marked on your individual lunch bag for easy pickup beginning at 10:30 AM.

6. Don't Forget Your Payment:
A friendly reminder that tickets are $140 per person. If you have not yet mailed your payment, please do so at your earliest convenience. Seats are not considered confirmed until payment has been received. Venmo is also an option.

This weekend we pause to honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation.

Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer. It is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we enjoy every day were secured by heroes who never returned home. Their courage, selflessness and devotion to duty will never be forgotten.

At Operation Jersey Cares, we are reminded daily why our mission matters. Every care package we ship, every volunteer hour given and every act of support shown to our deployed service members and veterans is done in honor of those who served before them and those who paid the highest price for our freedom.

As you gather with family and friends this weekend, please take a moment to remember our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their legacy. Their sacrifice is the foundation upon which our nation stands.

A big shout-out to the amazing Girl Scouts of Hamilton for collecting much-needed items for our Big Boy Boxes and for spending the evening sorting and packing supplies to support our deployed service members!

Your dedication, hard work, and willingness to make the trip all the way to Flemington are truly commendable. It was wonderful having you with us, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment to serving those who serve our nation.

Thank you for your generosity, your enthusiasm, and your patriotic spirit. The care packages you helped prepare will bring a touch of home and a reminder of support from back home to our troops around the world.

Well done, Girl Scouts of Hamilton, and thank you for making a difference! 🇺🇸

Our list continues to grow for those attending the Yankees game on August 9th! If you are interested in joining us, it is very important that you get on the list soon. We are already more than 60% sold since our last email.

As a reminder, we will be meeting in the Best Buy parking lot off Commons Way in Bridgewater at 10:30 AM. The buses will be leaving promptly at 11:00 AM.

During that 30-minute window, you will:

Pick up your lunch
Have the opportunity to purchase an OJC shirt, if interested
Grab your seat on the bus

The ride into the stadium is over an hour, and during the trip you will be entertained by comedians onboard your particular coach.

Please remember:

Small coolers and bags that fit under your seat are permitted onboard for your enjoyment
All buses will have bathrooms
You may leave personal belongings on the bus when we are dropped off at the gate, as the driver will remain with the bus for the duration of the game

We are looking forward to a tremendous day together as we support Operation Jersey Cares, honor our active service members and veterans, and enjoy Yankees baseball with an incredible group of supporters.

A heartfelt thank you to Ashley Krushinski and her team from eXp Realty for going above and beyond in organizing this incredibly productive drive to help meet the needs of our active servicemen and women.

The items collected were exactly the type of specific needs our troops appreciate most. Their dedication, generosity and teamwork shown by everyone involved was truly commendable.

Thank you to all who participated, supported the mission and helped Operation Jersey Cares continue serving those who protect and serve our nation.

Tickets are now officially on sale. If you would like to attend, please message us with the number of tickets you are requesting, along with the names of those attending. Please provide your contact information as well.

Since we still have plenty of time, I am hopeful to keep groups seated together without issue.

At a later date, I will also need a cell phone number for each guest so tickets can be electronically forwarded.

A paid ticket will confirm your seat(s). Seats are limited ($140pp).

Once your tickets are purchased, you will receive regular updates, along with others attending, via email regarding transportation, pick-up and drop-off times, lunch selections, and any dietary restrictions you may have.

We are looking forward to promoting the mission of Operation Jersey Cares on the Big Screen, recognizing the veterans among us, while enjoying a great day at the stadium with all of you.

Sean’s Room at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) was created from unimaginable loss after Christopher Locke lost his son, Sean, to su***de in 2018. From that loss came a mission built on hope.

“By Airmen, for Airmen.”

Today we learned that out of the 2,000 servicemen and women they’ve supported, 15 lives have been saved.

Fifteen lives that are still here because someone listened.

Operation Jersey Cares is proud to stand with Sean’s Room.

It was an honor to attend today’s ribbon cutting and support a program that is truly making a difference where it matters most.

Pallets of Girl Scout cookies have arrived at Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Earle in Monmouth County, with a truckload heading to JBMDL on Tuesday, which will bring a taste of home to those who proudly serve our country.

Thank you to everyone who purchased and donated cookies in support of our servicemen and women, and in support of Operation Jersey Cares. Your generosity helps us stand behind those who stand for us. A special thank you to the Girl Scout Council for their continued partnership with OJC in supporting our nation’s heroes.
