Harbor of Hope A compassionate place for immigrants, LGBTQIA+ individuals and those on the path to healing from trauma.

Through culturally responsive care and collective action we foster healing, resilience and belonging. Safe Harbor strives to foster emotional healing, provide a safe space to experience positive socialization, and eliminate barriers to basic needs for the Hunterdon County community. We offer support groups for both men and women with topics around DV, healthy parenting techniques, other forms of t

rauma. We are healing space for individuals who have experienced both physical and emotional trauma. We have children's programs designed to help their socialization skills and development. We are a safe and affirming space for youth using art as a way to process trauma, and encourages them to be active in their community. Safe Harbor Child Access Centers is a 501(c)3, all volunteer, New Jersey based not-for-profit organization, and is a registered New Jersey charity with the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs.

Take a few minutes to check in on your health! Join us on Monday, June 15 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM for a FREE biometric screening. Results are available within minutes and include blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and hemoglobin iron level checks.
No insurance required. Everyone is welcome!

We are so thankful for the generous food donation from Cabbage Throw Farm, collected through the Hunterdon County Community Farmers Market.
Support like this helps Harbor of Hope continue to share fresh, local food with individuals and families in our community. It’s a beautiful example of local farmers, community partners, and neighbors coming together to care for one another.
