Catskill Neighbors, Inc.

Catskill Neighbors, Inc. Catskill Neighbors, Inc. Catskill Neighbors is a community based volunteer organization founded by Reverend Ralph Darmstadt of Fleischmanns, NY.

is a community based all volunteer organization...Our mission is to help seniors wishing to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. We are a recognized NYS Domestic Not-for-Profit Corporation and a Tax Exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to help seniors wishing to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. As time goes by, families and friends often move on and are unable to

provide emotional or material support for aging loved ones whose physical abilities or income may diminish. What happens then? Where does a person turn for help? There are government social service agencies which provide important aid, but sometimes simple everyday needs can be filled by individual caring volunteers. That’s where Catskill Neighbors may be of assistance in offering friendship, companionship and a helping hand to local residents. A copy of our most recently filed financial report is available from the Charities Registry on the New York State Attorney General’s website https://ag.ny.gov/resources/organizations/charities-nonprofits-fundraisers or, upon request, by contacting the New York State Attorney General, Charities Bureau, 28 Liberty Street, New York, NY 10005, or Catskill Neighbors, Inc. at PO Box 353 Fleischmanns, NY 12430. You also may obtain information on charitable organizations from the New York State Office of the Attorney General at (212) 416-8401.

🚁 BIG THINGS ARE LANDING AT MARGARETVILLE HOSPITAL! 🚁

A major milestone is taking flight! Thanks to the hard work, dedication and support of so many, construction of our new helipad is underway! Over the next few days, you'll see cranes and construction crews on campus as the helipad platform is delivered and installed, followed by approximately 8-10 days of construction.

We'll do our best to keep traffic flowing smoothly during this work. We appreciate your patience and ask that you allow a few extra minutes when traveling to appointments while construction is underway.

What’s next? Following a successful LifeNet test landing, the helipad will be ready for use. A helipad means faster access to lifesaving medical transportation and time-sensitive care when every second counts. It’s another important investment in the health and safety of our community.

And, as always, our exceptional care teams are here to provide high-quality emergency and outpatient care, close to home.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to the Margaretville Hospital Foundation campaign to fund this important project. Your generosity and support are helping make this vital resource a reality for our community.

We’re excited to see this important project take flight!
