We are getting ready to start rehearsing for our Spring Concerts! We welcome new singers – we’d love to have you join us. Rehearsals will begin Sunday, March 10th in Roxbury, at the Carriage House behind the Gould Church, 7-9 p.m. Please join us – all parts welcome! Just show up, or message us here for more info. Concerts have been tentatively scheduled for June 21st in Roxbury and June 22nd in Margaretville. Rehearsals will alternate between the Carriage House in Roxbury and the Margaretville United Methodist Church, in order to accommodate our far-flung choristers.

We are heartbroken to share the news that our director, Richard Tucker, passed away suddenly last night from an apparent heart attack. He was doing what he loved most, rehearsing for an upcoming musical program at the Gould Church in Roxbury, this time as a performer. Dick was the founder, director, accompanist and the heart and soul of our organization for 49 years. We were just beginning to plan our 50th anniversary program which would have been next December, 2024. As we grieve privately and as a group, our hearts and love go out to his wife Pat and all his family.

We would like to take a moment to thank the audiences who attended our Winter Concerts Saturday and Sunday. We hope our music was the beginning of a joyful season for you. We especially enjoyed performing our program for the residents at The Pavilion Assisted Living in Stamford - a most appreciative audience. And special thanks to the audience at Margaretville who both assisted and waited patiently while a medical emergency was attended to. Happy Holidays!🎄
