HAPPY PRIDE!

It’s been a week since Pride in Albany put together by the Pride Center of the Cap Region and every year becomes more memorable than the last. Thank you to all the people who made this year’s pride weekend amazing! Our Pride Committee consisting of Micaela, Terry, Michelle, Kenny, and Jacob accomplished bringing together a community. Our beloved annual Tops v Bottom’s game, and organizing the logistics and details for the Pride Parade with a world cup themed Trophy!

Its not the club’s first pride marching in the parade, driving a car, steering a float, or pulling a chariot through the streets and the park. However, it is SOMEONE’s FIRST pride and its hard to ever forget your first pride. Seeing someone’s eyes light up because something was shown to you that is possible when you thought it wasn’t is Irreplaceable.

Come join us, maybe come play for the first time ever, or come reclaim a sport you used to love but didn’t find a place to belong until now. We can’t wait to see you on the pitch.

Our club is about community and it takes a whole village to get things moving along. Jenn Lee is a new sponsor this year. She is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist with advanced training in body-based and somatic modalities. Her background includes clinical massage therapy, structural, myofascial, and lymphatic work, with additional training influenced by Shiatsu, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, and Māori RomiRomi/Mirimiri. She has worked with a wide range of bodies, including clients managing chronic tension, stress-related patterns, and movement limitations. Her work emphasizes precision, safety, and system-level regulation rather than symptom chasing. All sessions are grounded in hands-on, experiential bodywork within scope of practice.
