Save the date for a full weekend of training on large animal rescue. The Drillyard has teamed up with MSPCA-Angell and The City of Keene Fire Department to offer two days of training on the response and management of large animal rescue.

Time: 08:30 - 16:30

We are going to extend the sign-up deadline to 9/1/26 there are limited seats available, the minimums have already been met so the class is a go. We are beyond excited to bring this program to the drill-yard. If you are interested in attending please follow the link below.

The wait is over for months, the progress has been building behind the scenes, and the props are being built.

So here it is.

This October, The Drill Yard will launch its first Firefighter I Training Program in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire.

For local students, this means less time driving across the state and more time training close to home. It means departments can develop new firefighters right here in the region, without adding hours of travel to an already demanding schedule. Students can for bonds and networks that can be fostered in this type of delivery.

This class is a return of old school instruction on modern practices, and it was built for the communities we serve.

Students will receive in-person classroom instruction, practical skills training, engaged instructors, and the support needed to complete one of the most important first steps in the fire service.

The program has finally arrived.

Now we need students who are ready to fill it.

Class begins October 5, 2026, and seating is limited.

Happy Summer to our followers and attendees. There will be no monthly training offered for July, because we all deserve a little down time. Last night’s Tactical Master Stream Application showed student the many ways master streams can be deployed to bring operational success. Capt. (Ret.) Dean Ericson brought nearly 4 decades of experience to the attendees in both a brief classroom and practical environment. As always these monthly trainings are **Free of Charge** and open to all regardless of state or region.
