Leadership rarely happens alone.

This morning, ambassadors had the opportunity to learn from our Group Leadership Panel featuring Dean Leber, Dr. LB Hannahs, and Marcella Hammer. Each panelist shared experiences from their own leadership journey and discussed the importance of teamwork, communication, and bringing people together around a common purpose.

The conversation reminded ambassadors that great leaders notice what's being said AND what's not being said.

Thank you to our panelists for investing in the next generation of leaders!

We're honored to welcome Dr. Samuel Caldwell and Kate Wood to HOBY NY East 2026.

Their message encourages ambassadors to think about how leadership can bring people together, build understanding, and create stronger communities.

One of the first things ambassadors learn at HOBY is that leadership doesn't start with a title.

It starts with understanding who you are.

During today's Personal Leadership Panel, ambassadors heard from Bria Barnes-Coleman, Christopher Walrath, and Tom Torrello as they shared stories from their own journeys, including lessons learned along the way.
