Fayetteville-Lincoln County Public Library Public library serving Fayetteville and all of Lincoln County, Tennessee At the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Public Library our patrons are our passion!

We have public access computers and free Wi-Fi for our patrons, and a wide array of newspapers and magazines in addition to a large collection of books and audio books. Children's programming supplements the education that children receive in school. Book clubs offer a wide array of topics for readers of all ages. The Genealogy Room contains invaluable materials related to local history and family research, and our volunteers are always happy to assist you in your search.

We’ve added even more board games, STEM kits, learning resources, escape rooms, card games, and more—and our collection has officially DOUBLED! 🎉

Our Library of Things also has a new home! You can now find the collection conveniently located near the circulation desk, making it easier to browse and find something new to take home.

🧩 Stop by during Fall Break and see what you can discover!

Want to help us keep growing? We gladly accept donations of items that could benefit our community. We’d also love to expand into even more “things” in the future—like sewing machines, crafting tools, and other useful items.

🎃📚 Looking for a fun Fall Break activity? Our annual Storybook Pumpkin Contest is BACK!

Beginning Monday, October 5th, stop by the library to pick up a pumpkin and turn it into your favorite storybook character!

Paint it, glue it, glitter it, dress it up — get creative! Just no carving, please. Pumpkins are due back to the library by Saturday, October 17th.

🏆 Everyone can join the fun! Entries will be judged in four age groups: ages 0–4, 5–12, 13–17, and adults 18+. A small prize will be awarded to the winner of each group.

✨ Pumpkins will be displayed through October 31st, and participants should pick up their creations no later than Saturday, November 7th.

🎃 Pumpkins are available while supplies last. Because supplies are limited, we kindly ask that you only take a pumpkin if you plan to decorate it and return it for the contest. If we run out, you’re always welcome to use your own!

We can’t wait to see which storybook characters show up at the library this year! 📚🍂
