Friends of Fayetteville-Lincoln County Veterans Inc A project designed to create a tribute and memorial to all who have served our nation both in and from Lincoln County and Fayetteville, Tennessee

The Fayetteville/Lincoln County Warrior Project was designed to pay tribute to those in and from Fayetteville/Lincoln County who have served our nation and as a memorial for those who gave their all. To accomplish this, we are seeking 5x7” photographs of our veterans from every period of US history. This is not just for combat veterans, but all veterans who have served honorably. The Fayetteville Parks & Recreation Department has very graciously allowed us to use their facility located at 1203 Wi******er Highway (next to the municipal swimming pool) to house the completed tribute. The submitted photographs will be sorted by era of service, matted and placed into frames holding approximately 12 to 15 pictures each. These will be displayed, along with other assorted military memorabilia, in a permanent living tribute. This memorial will continue to be updated as long as our sons and daughters continue to serve.

Rural Veterans invited to Wi******er Veterans Resource Fair
WHAT: VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System will host a resource fair for Veterans
residing in Wi******er and the surrounding communities. Veterans can engage with VA
leaders and experts, apply for VA health care, and explore various VA health services
and programs to include mental health, caregiver support, Community Care Program,
Homeless Veteran Program, Veteran Justice Outreach Program, and more. Tennessee
Department of Veterans Services will also be present to assist Veterans with benefits
claims.

Opening remarks begin at 4:30 p.m.

WHAT: VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System will host its ChooseVA Virtual Town Hall to connect with Veterans not yet enrolled in VA health care. VA experts will provide a comprehensive overview of VA health care eligibility criteria, the enrollment process, and health services available at VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System.
