Friends of Fayetteville-Lincoln County Veterans Inc A project designed to create a tribute and memorial to all who have served our nation both in and from Lincoln County and Fayetteville, Tennessee

The Fayetteville/Lincoln County Warrior Project was designed to pay tribute to those in and from Fayetteville/Lincoln County who have served our nation and as a memorial for those who gave their all. To accomplish this, we are seeking 5x7” photographs of our veterans from every period of US history. This is not just for combat veterans, but all veterans who have served honorably. Parks & Recreation Department has very graciously allowed us to use their facility located at 1203 Wi******er Highway (next to the municipal swimming pool) to house the completed tribute. The submitted photographs will be sorted by era of service, matted and placed into frames holding approximately 12 to 15 pictures each. These will be displayed, along with other assorted military memorabilia, in a permanent living tribute. This memorial will continue to be updated as long as our sons and daughters continue to serve.

Event is at Camp Blount 9am-4pm!
Plus we know there are some serious Corn Hole Competitors!

The Memorial Day Ceremony held at Lincoln Central Academy in Fayetteville, Tennessee, was a time of remembrance and gratitude as the community gathered to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

The ceremony was led by Master of Ceremonies Lance Carter, with the invocation and benediction was given by Reverend Tim Smith. Special remarks were shared by Steve Miller, Jeremy Thompson, and Grayson Walter, each offering heartfelt reflections on patriotism, sacrifice, and the true meaning of Memorial Day.

The program also featured patriotic sounding of “Taps,” and moments of solemn remembrance as attendees paid tribute to America’s fallen heroes.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special ceremony possible and to all who continue to honor the legacy of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸
