Trilith Institute Developing the next generation of great storytellers who inspire the world The Trilith Institute serves three purposes:

1.

The Trilith Institute is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the discovery, development, and professional advancement of Story Artists who inspire the world. Provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of Story Arts education to drive Trilith to become a driving force of cultural impact.

2. Cultivates an environment for artists, writers, and educators to engage in a wide variety of educati

onal programming and unique experiences.

3. Champions creative expression, where a study of the Arts is the lifeblood of learning at all levels, fostering a community where self-actualization, skill development, and ideas drive human progress forward.

Students may also connect to internship and production opportunities within Georgia’s film and television industry, and eligible students can apply for up to $10,000 in matching funds through our Creative Excellence Grant.

A lot of people think filmmaking courses are just about learning technical skills.

And yes, you’ll learn those. But at Trilith Institute, students also gain access to something equally important: connection.

Our Professional Education students learn from working industry professionals, build creative community, and can connect to internship and job opportunities within Georgia’s film and television industry.

Eligible students may also apply for our Creative Excellence Grant, which provides up to $10,000 in matching funds to support original creative projects.

This competitive, project-based award is open to current and former Trilith Institute Professional Education students with a project ready for development or production.

Selected filmmakers receive:

Big news for our storytellers đź‘Ź

Cobb County Country Club, a comedy pilot by Trilith Institute Emerging Creative in Residence ,is an Official Selection at the 35th Anniversary Iowa Motion Picture Film Festival.

This recognition is a strong reflection of the work happening inside our programs, where emerging creatives are not just learning the craft, but creating, producing, and putting real work into the world.

At Trilith Institute, we’re focused on building a clear pathway from classroom to career, connecting talent directly to the industry through hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities.
