The Kiwanis Club of Fargo was honored to present a $10,000 donation to Churches United from proceeds raised during our 68th Annual Pancake Karnival.

Every child deserves the security of knowing food will be on the table. Through its commitment to serving families experiencing hardship, Churches United provides critical support to members of our community when they need it most.

The generosity of our Pancake Karnival attendees, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners makes this support possible. We are proud to partner with Churches United in helping address food insecurity and ensuring local children and families have access to essential resources.

The Kiwanis Club of Fargo was proud to present a $10,000 donation to Bridging the Gap FM Area from proceeds raised during our 68th Annual Pancake Karnival.

One of the most powerful ways we can support children is by ensuring they have reliable access to food. Bridging the Gap works tirelessly to meet that need, helping local children and families overcome barriers that can stand in the way of success.

Because of the incredible support shown by our community during Pancake Karnival, this donation will help further the important work of providing food and hope to children facing food insecurity.

For 68 years, the Fargo community has gathered around the Pancake Karnival to support local children. This year, that tradition continues in a powerful way.

The Kiwanis Club of Fargo is honored to present a $10,000 donation to Great Plains Food Bank to help address childhood food insecurity throughout our region.

Every dollar raised through the Pancake Karnival represents a community that believes no child should have to learn on an empty stomach or worry about where their next meal will come from. Through its extensive network of programs and partners, Great Plains Food Bank helps provide food and hope to thousands of children and families across North Dakota and northwest Minnesota.

We are proud to support their mission and grateful for the difference they make every day.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, and supported this year’s Pancake Karnival. Together, we’re helping ensure that more children have access to the nutrition they need to thrive.

Last week, the Kiwanis Club of Fargo Scholarship Foundation (KCFSF) proudly awarded $25,000 in scholarships to deserving students involved in Key Club and Circle K.

The KCFSF was established to support young men and women in the Fargo-Moorhead area as they pursue higher education at technical schools, colleges, and universities. Since its founding, the Foundation has awarded more than $326,000 in scholarships to students continuing their education.

This year, twelve scholarships were awarded. We were honored to recognize several Horace Key Club scholarship recipients, along with an NDSU Circle K recipient, during our meeting.

Thanks to support from the Kiwanis Club of Fargo’s Pancake Karnival, Honors Scholarships continue to make a difference for students in the Fargo-Moorhead community. Scholarship funds help deserving young men and women pursue their educational dreams and ease the financial burden of higher education.
