Please take a moment to read what the project manager of the Phase 2 project has to say about the process:
“Hi, I’m Brad Mongeau, the Project Manager working alongside our team at the Garden of Healing. I wanted to share a few words as this important project moves forward.
We recognize how difficult it can be to see portions of the original garden being removed, especially knowing the memories, stories and loved ones connected to this special place. For many, this has been a place to grieve, remember and honor those they love. We understand that construction can bring a sense of loss of its own, even when the goal is to create something better for the future.
Our team does not take that responsibility lightly. Every step is being completed with care, respect and compassion for what this space has meant to so many people.
At the same time, I’m looking forward to seeing the new garden take shape and, in time, become a place of comfort, healing and new memories for our community. Together, we can honor the memories and legacy rooted in this garden while welcoming a future filled with connection, healing and shared moments for generations to come.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of something so meaningful.”
