Dr. Edward May and his staff at Anew Oral Surgery Fargo came together to supply Justice Well with winter coats, pants, socks, and boots! We are beyond grateful to have amazing community partners like Anew Oral Surgery support our mission and help keep members of our community warm this winter!

🎃 LAASC Presents: HAUNTFEST! 🎃

Join us for a night of safe, clean, sober fun, fellowship, and Halloween festivities at Hauntfest!

Our team spent the day at the Cass Clay Hunger Coalition's 9th annual Hunger & Health Summit. We were honored to be recognized with the Trailblazer Award for our summer series with Heart-n-Soul Community Café offering meals to the treatment court clients at The Ridge Treatment and Reentry Center.

We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right and is the foundation to helping the clients of the Justice Well Program continue to rebuild their lives after mental health and addiction challenges.

Today is Global Peer Support Celebration Day, and we are pausing to honor the incredible Peer Support Specialists who serve as beacons of hope across the mental health and addiction recovery fields.

Peer Support Specialists bring something unique to healthcare: lived experience. They know the weight of the struggle, the bravery it takes to ask for help, and the work required to rebuild a life step by step. They show up every single day with deep empathy, endless patience, and unwavering dedication—proving that recovery isn't just possible, it's real.

At The Justice Well Program, peer support isn't just an addition to what we do; it is the foundation of our entire approach. We know that navigating the justice system while managing mental health or substance use challenges can feel isolating. That is why from day one, our participants walk alongside dedicated Peer Navigators and Peer Specialists who hold space, advocate, break down barriers, and share the journey without judgment.

To every Peer Support Specialist out there—and especially to our team at Justice Well and The Ridge Treatment & Reentry Center—thank you. Thank you for turning your own hardest moments into strength for others. Thank you for your tireless work, your heart, and your belief in human potential.
