Jefferson Village Civic Association Jefferson Village is a vibrant and diverse community just south of Falls Church City.

Established in 1945, our neighborhood is a three-square-mile area located from Route 50 up to, and including, Chestnut Ave; and from Annandale Road to Graham Road. The neighborhood includes 30 residential streets with a little under 800 houses and approximately 2000 residents.

We’ll hear updates from Supervisor Dalia Palchik and Supervisor Andres Jimenez, share neighborhood project updates and ideas, and hold JVCA board elections.

Whether you’ve lived here for years or just moved in, this is a great chance to meet neighbors, hear what’s happening in the community, and help shape what comes next for Jefferson Village.

We’re also looking for new board members and volunteers to help with future events, projects, and neighborhood initiatives. If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved, we’d love to talk with you!

Hi neighbors! REMINDER about tomorrow’s school boundary meeting. Info below —

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is restarting conversations about potential school boundary changes affecting the Greenway Downs and Jefferson Village neighborhoods, as well as nearby communities. These discussions are part of an ongoing effort to address how these two neighborhoods are currently divided among multiple elementary schools.

A community meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 28 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. at Falls Church High School. FCPS will share a recap of previous discussions, review draft boundary maps, and outline next steps in the process, with a goal of bringing recommendations to the School Board by January 2027.

This is an important opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and provide input that will help shape decisions directly impacting our neighborhood. Residents are encouraged to attend in person or virtually.

1030AM -- Kid Parade (Shady Park)
12PM -- Pet Parade (Shady Park)

We will have breakfast sweets, water, apples, coffee, etc. starting at 10AM before the kid parade, followed by loads of fun activities for families! And yes .. the pumpkins to paint and take home will be back again this year!!

For the pup parade, we recommend getting there 10 min early to line up and get ready.

DONATIONS/VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
In order to keep this event as wonderful as it always is (and running smoothly!) we could use your help, please!
