Why Juneteenth Matters

Did you know?

Although the Emancipation Proclamation was signed in 1863, many enslaved people in Texas did not learn they were free until June 19, 1865.

Juneteenth commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice.

Support Young Creatives❣️

Thanks to Sketchygoichie and the SoCo Art Labs we are ready for an art show 🎨

Our local talented young artists have been working hard to create original pieces that showcase their creativity, imagination, and unique perspectives. Through this program, youth are developing digital art skills, gaining hands-on experience, building confidence, and learning how their creativity can open doors to entrepreneurship and future opportunities.

Join us in celebrating their hard work and supporting programs that empower young people to think outside the box, express themselves, and discover the value of their artistic voices.
