A big thank you to Fr. Peter Clifford, pastor of St. John of Rochester parish in Fairport, whose leadership and devotion to Saint's Place has been instrumental to our success. Thanks to him and the caring parishioners of St. John's, Saint's Place located its Clothing Closet in the church's parish center several years ago. Then two years ago, Saint's Place moved its administrative offices and drop-off donation center there too. We now have our popular annual Super Sale in the parish's gym. We celebrated Fr. Peter recently, and we dedicated our Mary Garden next to our building to him. We wish him all the best in his well-earned retirement. God bless you, Fr. Peter!

Saint's Place welcomes refugees and the poor and needy in our community with dignity and respect. This morning we found this large donation left overnight in the rain. None of these items are useable and created more work for our volunteers who had to dispose of them.

With so may wonderful donors who sincerely want to help, an incident like this is so disheartening.

A truck of care, headed where it’s needed most
Today, Saint’s Place sent more than just supplies to World Relief refugee families—we’re sending encouragement, dignity, and a reminder that no one walks this journey alone.
Our truck is transporting cleaning supplies, yard tools, and household essentials, all gathered and purchased with love for families being served by World Relief during their Health Homes Month this May. Through this program, volunteers from World Relief will walk alongside refugee families, sharing practical skills to help them care for their homes and yards—building confidence, stability, and pride along the way.
We are honored to play a small part in something that will make a big difference in everyday lives of refugees.

We are in need of gently used strollers. If you have one to donate, it may be dropped off to us Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
