The Four-Seven

The Four-Seven The 4:7 mission helps individuals transition from life behind bars to true freedom on the INSIDE

Through a relationship with Christian community, The Four-Seven is committed to equipping the lives of the incarcerated and their families with tools and resources that lead to transformation. We believe every individual is worth fighting for, and we believe in a God of grace. That is why we are committed to running hard after the incarcerated and helping them rebuild their lives. There has been a

time for all of us when someone invested themselves in our lives in an effort to help us back to our feet when we had fallen. All it takes is one helping hand to get back up, and we want to ensure that all have the opportunity to experience the unconditional love and grace Christ has to offer. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23); But to each one of us, grace has been given as Christ apportioned it (Ephesians 4:7).

Reentry is not just about having somewhere to return to—it’s about having the support, resources, relationships, and direction needed to move forward after coming home.

If you or someone you love is navigating reentry, connect with The Four-Seven to learn about reentry coaching, family support, and community resources available before and after release.

One opportunity can give preparation somewhere to go.

We’re grateful for the employers and community partners who see the potential in returning neighbors and are willing to give them a chance to put their skills to work.

Coming home is not only about returning to where you have been.

It is also about believing there can be a different way forward — and having the courage to walk in it.

“If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36

What does freedom mean to you in this season?

What does preparing for home really take?

Reentry can begin inside prison, long before someone walks through the gate.

Inside support helps prepare residents not only for release, but for the realities of life after it. HOME looks at what needs to be in place for that next step to become a real way forward.

“…what can I do for others while I am here?”

Preparation is more than planning for release. It is allowing God to shape the heart long before the next chapter begins.

Watch how purpose can take root—even in a season of waiting.

Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that purpose has never depended on perfect circumstances.

We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ for good works—even in seasons of waiting, hardship, and preparation.

What does this verse remind you about purpose?

For our residents, home is more than a place to return to. It is a life that must be rebuilt with purpose, stability, hope, and support.

Reentry is not built at the prison gate. It is built in the days that come before it.

This August, we’re honoring the work that begins before release—and the purpose it takes to keep moving toward home.

Residents do not simply return to the lives they left behind. They return to relationships changed by time, absence, and grief.

Reentry is not just about coming home. It is about coming home to one another.

If incarceration is a family experience, then support must be a family experience, too.

Let us continue creating spaces of connection, care, and hope for families on both sides of the walls.

Father-Son Day at WCI gave fathers space to show up more fully — not just as someone incarcerated, but as a dad, a person, and a human being.

We are grateful for moments like this, where families are given room to be present with one another in a way regular visits do not always allow.
