If you are able to help with recruitment night at MECC tomorrow evening, please let me know. Meeting starts at 7 pm, but plan to arrive in uniform by 6:45 pm. Should be done by 7:45 pm.

We have some recruitment nights coming up, 6:30-8:00 PM. We would like as many Den Chiefs as possible to be at these events to help represent Scouting and help teach the boys who attend some basic scouting skills (Cub Scout motto, Cub Scout sign, etc).

The dates are: August 28th at Western Row Elementary; September 5th at MECC; and September 10th at the Mason Community Center.

You should be in Class-A uniform shirts for these recruitment nights.

Need to know who is going to be available for the Pack meeting this coming Friday night. I will be heading up to the Turkey Campout afterwards, so I'm sure we can arrange for transportation to there if that's a concern.

This meeting will be "The City of Pack 998", and part of the meeting will be run like a city council meeting (to a limited extent), and we'll have some game stations and Citizenship stations where the boys will get a chance to start on the Citizenship belt loop.

No regularly scheduled den meetings next Friday (Sept 23), but our Tiger den is doing a hike and craft at Pine Hill Park at 6 pm. If any den chiefs are interested in helping out, let me know. One or two should suffice. Thanks!

For those available and returning this year as Den Chiefs - Pack 998 den meetings begin this Friday at MUMC. Final Den assignments are not yet complete as we are looking to add to the Den Chief corps.

This Sunday there will be Den Chief training, part of the break-out sessions of 194's Troop Leadership Training. TLT runs from 1-5PM at MUMC. I am not certain when the break-outs start (probably around 3PM?). If you plan to attend, please let me know.
