The NJ Y Camps is one of the nation’s premier Jewish camping organizations, with seven camps clustered at two locations serving children, families and seniors. The camps draw more than 4,000 campers each summer from numerous communities, primarily in the New York-New Jersey region, encompassing 16 JCC affiliates. Founded in 1920, the NJ Y Camps is among the oldest Jewish camps in the nation. Today

We were so honored to welcome the Shirvan Family to NJY Camps last week! Thanks to their incredible generosity, the Shirvan Family Tzevet B’Yachad (TBY) Program gives Round Lake alumni the opportunity to return to camp as valued staff members, building confidence, developing meaningful job skills, fostering independence, and continuing to be an integral part of the camp community they love.
Now in its fifth summer, TBY has continued to grow, allowing us to welcome participants from beyond Round Lake who have been embraced by our camp community with open arms. Watching this program expand and the impact it has on so many lives has been truly inspiring.
TBY is more than a program. It reflects one of NJY Camps’ core values: creating a community where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, belong, and thrive.
To the Shirvan Family, thank you for your vision, generosity, and partnership in making this transformative program possible. Your support is changing lives and strengthening our community every single summer.
