ARC for Nepal is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating lasting opportunities for children and communities in Nepal while supporting cultural, educational, and community-building events in the United States. Goals:
� To organize cultural events and activities that preserve and promote Nepal's rich cultural and religious heritage.
�To provide educational opportunities that foster cu

ltural understanding and awareness among Nepali Americans and the broader global community.
�To support repairing and constructing temples and other religious structures in Nepal.
�To preserve Nepal's cultural artifacts, traditions, and history for future generations.
�To respond to natural disasters in Nepal and provide relief and support to affected communities. Objectives:
�To establish a strong network of Nepali Americans and friends of Nepal who share a passion for promoting and preserving Nepali culture.
�To raise awareness about Nepal's unique cultural identity and its contributions to global heritage.
�To facilitate cultural exchange programs between Nepal and the United States.
�To provide educational scholarships and grants to the less fortunate in the global Nepali community.
�To support the renovation and construction of temples and other religious structures in Nepal, focusing on historical and culturally significant sites.
�To collect and preserve Nepal's cultural artifacts, including clothing, music, art, and literature.
�To provide disaster relief and support to Nepali communities affected by natural disaster like earthquakes, floods, and storms. Programs and Services:
�Cultural events and festivals, such as Nepali New Year, Dashain, and Tihar celebrations.
�Workshops and seminars on Nepali culture, history, and traditions.
�Educational scholarships and grants for the less fortunate in the global Nepali community.
�Temple renovation and construction projects to preserve the rich religious traditions of Nepal.
�Disaster relief efforts in Nepal, including emergency response, first aid collections, and assistance with rebuilding schools and temples.

It has been 11 days since catastrophic floods struck northern Nepal. Search-and-recovery operations continue across devastated communities. Although extraordinary stories of survival are emerging, the overall reality remains somber: more than 1,300 people have died, and nearly 5,000 remain unaccounted for.

Relief efforts are expanding through ongoing rescue and recovery operations, water, sanitation and hygiene assistance, and approximately 21 tons of medical aid en route or being prepared for affected communities.

Together, our community has contributed $8,466 to the ARC for Nepal Flood Relief Fund. ARC Beauty Salon and Himalayan Fresh Water have added $2,093 in matching funds, bringing the current total to $10,559.

Eligible donations will continue to be matched dollar for dollar through September 9, up to the combined $5,000 matching limit.

Please do not let Nepal be forgotten. Continue sharing these stories, demanding urgent climate action, reducing waste wherever you can and supporting relief efforts.

Double the impact of your donation.

Beginning August 31, ARC Beauty Salon and Himalayan Fresh Water will match every donation made to the ARC for Nepal Flood Relief Fund dollar for dollar, up to a combined total of $5,000.

ARC Beauty Salon is deeply connected to Nepal through our threading traditions and predominantly Nepali team. Several employees have already committed personal donations to the relief fund. Himalayan Fresh Water was built with that same mission of giving back and commits 75% of its profits to supporting ARC for Nepal’s work. For our families, Nepal is not a distant cause, it’s home.

The match applies to donations made through arcfornepal.org, the official ARC for Nepal GoFundMe and the Facebook/Instagram donation pool. Donations can also be made in person at Himalayan Fresh Water and ARC Beauty Salon locations.

Search-and-rescue operations continue as authorities work to reach isolated communities and people believed to be trapped inside flooded hydropower tunnels. Nearly 800 deaths have been reported in Nepal, more than 2,500 people remain missing and rising water levels have created the risk of secondary flash flooding.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has donated, shared this fundraiser or helped bring attention to the disaster. Your support is part of a growing response from Nepali communities and international partners around the world.

All net proceeds collected by ARC for Nepal will be transferred to the Government of Nepal’s Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.

As search-and-rescue efforts continue across flood-affected communities in Nepal, your support is urgently needed.

The reported death toll has climbed to nearly 600, while more than 2,000 people remain missing. These figures may continue to rise as rescue teams reach isolated communities.

Together, we have raised $5,536 for the Nepal Disaster Relief Fund. We are deeply grateful to every donor who has contributed, shared this campaign and helped bring attention to this crisis.

All net proceeds collected by ARC for Nepal will be transferred to the Government of Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. This morning, catastrophic flash floods swept through northern Nepal, destroying homes and critical infrastructure in an instant.

At least 167 people have been reported dead, while more than 400 remain missing. These figures may continue to change as search-and-rescue operations continue.

ARC for Nepal is launching the Nepal Flood Emergency Relief Fund to collect international donations for verified emergency and recovery needs.

Donations may help provide food, safe drinking water, essential supplies, medical and hygiene items, and continued assistance for affected families.

Through our Nepal-based sister organization, the Rajendra Anjana Foundation, we will coordinate with local governments and recognized disaster-response agencies to identify urgent needs and provide aid responsibly.

All funds transferred into Nepal will follow Social Welfare Council requirements.
