Memorial Day reminds us that freedom comes at a great cost. Today, the Peter T Foundation honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and we also hold close in our hearts the courageous children who lost their battle to disease.

Though their journeys were different, their strength, courage, and love leave a lasting legacy that will never be forgotten.

Today we remember.
Today we honor.
Today we stand together in gratitude and remembrance.

As many families travel, celebrate, and make memories this Memorial Day weekend, we ask you to also keep in your hearts the children spending these days confined to hospital rooms, fighting battles no child should ever have to face. ❤️

This photo captures Peter’s first Memorial Day after his Broviac port was removed. After such a long and difficult journey, the joy on his face as he was finally able to dive into the water is something words can hardly describe. A simple moment that became an unforgettable memory for our family.

These are the moments our mission is built on, creating hope, joy, strength, and special memories for children and families navigating childhood cancer and serious illness.

While enjoying your freedom, your travels, and your loved ones this weekend, remember the families still waiting for moments like this. ❤️💙
