Important notice - Emerson PTA is a nonprofit organization that is separate from Everett Public Schools and managed by community members and staff who volunteer their time and donate generously. We work diligently to create opportunities for all students, staff, and families to feel included, respected, and empowered at school. “ALL” means ALL. We value community members of all language, cultural, faith, ethnic, and gender groups. This page is a safe space where we share news and celebrations, including those of groups that may otherwise be marginalized or targeted.

We wholeheartedly invite positive comments and constructive conversation. Comments that are not in alignment with our values of respect and inclusion will be deleted, and commenters who engage in hateful discussion will be blocked. The PTA page is managed by volunteers, and we may not be able to monitor it in a timely fashion as we would want. Please be patient, and be sure to report any comments that do not support our values, so that we may be alerted to respond quickly. Thank you for your support in making this a welcoming, safe space for our community.

We are committed to helping create spaces where every student and staff member feels respected, supported, and empowered to be themselves. This week, Emerson students opted in to create links that represent the pride they feel - in themselves, their school, their family, their culture, their faith, their skills, etc. Together, each of the links form a chain on our June bulletin board. We are PROUD of how it turned out and of PTA's work to include everyone.

This evening, we honored Ms. Jenna Nicholas with Honorary Lifetime Membership to the PTA. Ms. Nicholas has made significant contributions to the growth and development of the Emerson PTA, beginning in her role as PTA President (2023-2025), and continuing behind the scenes as a staff liaison and constant supporter of PTA efforts, including movie nights, bulletin boards, theater productions, and last minute event support. Thank you, Ms. Nicholas!

It's tricky to take a glamorous photo, but check out all the plastic film Emerson families collected to save from the landfill! All this will be sent off for a new life as decking material. Thank you to those who participated in the recycling drive!

Washington State PTA Recognizes Emerson PTA with the 100% Staff Gold Membership Award. This means that 100% of the number of certificated staff at Emerson are members of the PTA. Thank you to our staff at Emerson who have become members this year: YOU are the reason our PTA achieved this award! Your support of our PTA's vision, mission, and goals are an integral part of what makes this school and PTA community so strong.
