This past week we had the privilege of delivering 140 donated coats to support and help keep the LGBTQ+ community warm this winter. 🏳️‍🌈

It was a reminder of how special and essential the Center is. As soon as we brought the bags up, folks were picking out coats and gloves to stay warm. 🏳️‍⚧️

Thank you so much to everyone who donated — you know who you are! 🙌 Your donation will keep someone warm and supported in Chicagoland’s LGBTQ+ community this winter 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

It’s a lovely and striking documentary about some amazing Dad’s grappling with the challenge and opportunity of loving their amazing kids in a world denying their existence 🏳️‍⚧️💪

Team Rowan is hosting our first annual coat drive to support Center on Halsted, and we’d love your help spreading warmth this winter.

Donate new or gently-used coats in youth & adult sizes to support our LGBTQ+ friends! 🌈🧥

When Rowan came out, we found Rebecca’s PDF resource ‘MY KID JUST CAME OUT AS TRANSGENDER: Now What?! A GUIDE FOR PARENTS & CAREGIVERS’ and it was invaluable in our conversations with family members and friends. We’ve been a fan ever since.
