It’s that time of year again- Pajama Drive time!
We are collecting new pajamas for kids of all ages who are staying at Advent Health in Orlando. When kids are stuck there for a long time they can feel a little more themselves when in their own pajamas instead of a hospital gown. In Aiden’s case they didn’t even always have gowns available in his size.

Mother’s Day is one of those days that isn’t always easy for me. I am lucky enough to have an amazing mom who is my best friend and rock and has always been there for me. Spencer makes the day so much fun even if he declared that today and every holiday was “Pa” day and not Mother’s Day. However there is always Aiden and the memories of him and the thoughts of what could have been. They are always there in the background but on certain days, like Mother’s Day, they make themselves a little more known. Here is to both the boys who made me a mother, my own mother, all the mothers and those who step in as mother figures out there.

One of the most asked questions we get during our pajama drive is what kind of pajamas are the best to donate? We make it so easy for you. You can donate to our paypal and we will do the shopping for you, you can go to our amazon wishlist and order from there or follow a few simple guidelines:

-zippers make for easy access in case of port access or the need for ivs or other medical needs

- two piece outfits are great, sometimes you are required to wear the hospital gown but can wear your own bottoms or again easier access than a one piece with tons of buttons that are hard to do

- we get a huge amount of donations every year for kids under 5, LOVE it- its our wheelhouse since we do our care packages for kids 2 and under but we are giving these to the hospital for all kids so don't forget about the older kids specifically that 7-12 range they make up a lot of patients.
