Final Baseball Opening Day of the summer season kicked off Saturday with Tee Ball and Bantam teams. The littlest sluggers were up to the plate first and there was no shortage of cuteness. Fun Fact. MYAA has the largest Tee Ball program in the area with 14 teams and 170 players!! A program so big we had to construct two more fields to accommodate all that baseball fun!

Cross Country registration is open!

The program is for runners going into K-6 for the 2026-2027 school year. Our season will run from 8/10/2026-10/10/2026. Practices are Monday and Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm and Saturdays 9-10am. Registration will be open until June 30th so don’t delay!!

🏆 MYAA Athlete Highlight: Everett Fezell, 2026 Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Champion 🥇

History made.

Everett Fezell captured the 2026 Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Championship in the Boys 8U 110-pound division, dominating one of the toughest youth wrestling tournaments in the country.

What makes this accomplishment even more remarkable? Everett did not surrender a single point during the entire state tournament.

Not one takedown. Not one escape. Not one reversal.

That flawless performance marks a historic first for MYAA and caps off an incredible season that included eight tournament championships.

Anyone who knows Pennsylvania wrestling understands the level of competition it takes to reach the top. To navigate a state bracket undefeated is impressive. To do it without giving up a single point is something truly special.

But beyond the medals and victories, Everett represents what youth sports are all about. His hard work, discipline, sportsmanship and respect for the game have earned the admiration of competitors across the state. At the Farm Show Arena, wrestlers from throughout Pennsylvania sought him out for photos and introductions, recognizing the champion everyone was chasing.

Congratulations, Everett, on an unforgettable season and an achievement that will be remembered in MYAA history for years to come. We are incredibly proud of you!

Up next, live on-line game streamed video at each field. Vnet Fiber is changing the way we enjoy our complex and we couldn’t be happier with the partnership!

The wait is finally over! This spring, DuraEdge professionally renovated two of our baseball fields at the Walnut Creek Complex. The multi-use fields have been converted to accommodate baseball and softball as well as dual base path lengths and multi-pitching distance options for our athletes.

Last year, our baseball and softball programs had nearly 1300 participants playing on 15 fields throughout the township from April through October!!! Our fields certainly get the use and this spring two of them got a little extra TLC.
