Enfield Community Advocates We are a group of Enfield community members that are coming together to take action. We invite you to join at the Enfield Community Advocates table.

Collaboratively, we can develop action items, plan events, and determine the next steps we should take with Town leaders and community members in a non-biased way. Our goal as a group is to work past the divisiveness to inform town leadership on sustainable solutions for Enfield.

Perfect example of the issues with a town budget referendum. The public just doesnt show up!! Decisions are made by "few" residents and not the "many".

Tonight proved something important — every single vote matters. The budget referendum failed by only 60 votes. That’s it. A handful of people deciding to stay home could have changed the entire outcome and our taxes along with it.

To everyone who came out and voted NO because you’re tired of constant tax increases — thank you. But this is not over. There WILL be another vote, and likely another after that, until they get the “yes” vote they want.

If you do NOT want your taxes going up again:
• You MUST get out and vote next time.
• Urge your friends, neighbors, family members, and especially seniors on fixed incomes to get out and vote too.
• If you know someone who said “my vote doesn’t matter,” show them these numbers — because it absolutely does.

This town cannot continue forcing residents to absorb endless tax increases year after year. People are struggling. Seniors are being pushed out of homes they worked their entire lives for. Enough is enough.

Stay informed. Stay involved. And when the next referendum comes, SHOW UP. Every vote counts.
