💜 Hello everyone… it’s me, Buddy! 🐾

My name is Buddy, and yes — I’m an older guy, but I still have so much love to give. 🐶✨ I came from a local pound here in CT, and now my friends at Fetching Hearts are helping me find something very special: a quiet, peaceful medical foster home where I can relax, heal, and feel safe. 🏡💤

I’ll be having surgery soon. 🩺 If you message the rescue, they can explain why — but don’t worry, it won’t stop me from finding my forever home. I promise. 💖

🐾💛 Hi everyone… it’s me, Onyx. 💛🐾

I haven’t had the easiest start in life… I wasn’t treated very well before I came here. But now I’m safe at the animal shelter in Connecticut, and Fetching Hearts Rescue is trying so hard to help me find a real home. A forever one. 🏡✨

Even after everything I’ve been through, I promise you… I’m still super sweet. Yes, really! I love other dogs, I’m great with cats, and I’m gentle with older kids. I wag my tail so much it could practically power a small city. ⚡🐕💨

I’ll be honest… my previous owner wasn’t kind, so I can be a little shy around men at first. But if you’re a guy with calm, positive energy, I warm up and soak in the love like sunshine. 🌞💕

I adore:
🐶 Playing with dogs
🐱 Hanging with cats
👦 Older kids
🎾 Toys, chew toys, ALL the toys
🌲 Walks, hikes, fenced yards
💤 Snuggling up in the evenings

🐾 Snuggles: I am a certified cuddle professional — I will melt into your couch AND your heart.
🐾 Shadowing: Wherever you go, I go. Bathroom included. No privacy. Sorry not sorry.
🐾 Joy Spreading: I greet every human (especially kids!) like they’re my long-lost best friend.
🐾 Resilience: I came from a cruelty case, but my spirit? UNBREAKABLE. My sparkle? BLINDING. ✨

Let me brag about myself for a sec:

💛 I’m 10–11 months old — pure puppy energy
💛 I’m 37 lbs — the perfect “scoop me up” size
💛 I LOVE kids
💛 I prefer to be your one and only dog (I want all the attention, duh)
💛 Cats? Nope
💛 My hop-run is so cute it should be illegal

And listen… I know I’m a black dog, and sometimes people overlook pups like me.
But trust me — I am MAGIC.
I am sunshine.
I am joy with four paws and a wiggly butt.
I am the comeback story you’ll brag about forever.

Fetching Hearts Rescue is facing one of the most urgent situations we’ve ever had, and we need you to truly hear this.

These puppies… they made it through the terrifying tornadoes that tore through Mississippi just days ago. And now, after everything they’ve endured, they’re on their way to us — but we have nowhere for them to go.

These sweet little souls are searching for their forever families, and they’ll be ready for adoption on 3/21! They’re great with dogs, cats, and kids — truly the full package of love and joy.

But before you fall for those adorable faces (and trust us, you will), here’s a gentle reminder about what puppy life really looks like:

💛 Puppies are precious… but they’re also a big commitment.
They need families who have the time, patience, and dedication to help them grow into the amazing dogs they’re meant to be.

✨ What these pups need from you:
• Meals three times a day
• Frequent potty breaks
• Lots of supervision — they’re mischievous and curious
• Socializing with people and other animals
• Training classes starting right away to build confidence, manners, and a strong bond
• A family who can be home — they cannot be left alone for more than 3 hours at this stage

When you put in the time now, you set them up to become happy, well-adjusted, loving family members by the time they reach a year old.
