Don’t miss the fun and educational activities children and their families can enjoy at an upcoming free “Child Safety Day”. Child Safety Day will take place (rain or shine) at the 18th Annual Scitico Fall Fest on Sunday, October 11th from 2:00-4:00pm.
The event will take place at the Scitico Plaza, 585 Hazard Avenue (Route 190) in Enfield, CT. The safety booths will be set up in a circuit (one-way traffic) format to promote social distancing. Mask wearing for participants (three years old and up) will be required to approach the safety booths.
At Child Safety Day, children can visit a fire truck from the Hazardville Fire Dept., receive free Child ID Kits by the Enfield Police Dept., view a high-tech communications vehicle from the CT Air National Guard (14th Civil Support Team), learn railroad safety tips from Operation Lifesaver (CT DOT), and learn about respecting others from The Network. Free entertainment will include demonstrations from a K-9 Dog Unit (CT Dept. of Corrections) and by students from Integrity Martial Arts.
