Let's take a moment and give honor to the "main man" of The Refining Life, Rev. Jarred.

He was the only male featured in our documentary because he has been a part of the organization since the beginning. He has supported our Founder, Dr. Renita, every step of the way.

We are so appreciative for his support and sacrifice to ensure that we can keep going and keep growing!

Service is a lifestyle and it is a part of The Refining Life.

We were so happy to serve the women and children of the Durham Rescue Mission. We teamed up with the Ever Ready Club of St. Mark AMEZ Church and served meals with hearts of gladness.

Having a mindset of service and a heart of joy helped us be lights for those who needed it today.

Today, we acknowledge those who are history in the making. Our Refined Expression Ambassadors, Kennedy Rose and Reign Selah are PHENOMENAL young ladies.

They train, perform on national stages, are on the top tier of their dance company, and academically shine. They both desire to make performance their future and utilize the arts to keep their minds refined.

We are so proud of all they have done, are doing, and will do!

These final days of Women's History Month, we want to highlight some special ladies.

Have you ever seen a clutch?!?

Well here are two. Arnika, our Events Logistics Coordinator, and Kenia, our film editor, are absolutely phenomenal women! We would not have been able to experience and enjoy our Red Carpet First Screening and Gala for our documentary without them.

Both are extremely complex and their talents go well beyond what they do for us. But, we are honored to call them a part of The Refining Life Family!

"Reflect: A Refining Life Documentary" wasn't just about the adults. The Refining Life journey is a movement for us all. The journey starts when we are young, thus the youth are a part of the story.

We are so grateful to have our Refined Expression Ambassadors (our branch that highlights how youth utilize artistic expression to refine their minds) as a part of our round breaking documentary.
