Many thanks to all of you that responded to the recent "Missing Classmates" email - we were able to update our information for a good number of our classmates!!

Formal registration is now open for you to let us know which events you will be attending.

Here is a very brief recap of the events:

Friday October 16, 2026:
*Open House at Spring Inn - 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm
*No Fee, but registration is required for a headcount
*Cash Bar

*York vs Lyons Township Football Game - 7:30 pm
*Self directed activity - you are on your own, the Reunion Committee is not coordinating this event

Saturday October 17, 2026:
*Tour of York High School - 10:00 am
*No Fee, but registration is required so we know how many guides are needed

*55th Reunion Celebration at Knights of Columbus hall - 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm
*Knights of Columbus Hall
*$85 per person, registration required, payable by credit card on the registration form
* Covers hall rental, food, decorations, and other incidentals

We have just been informed by the York athletic office that the Friday night football game will be a home game at Clarence D. East Field on October 16th at 7:30pm vs. LTHS. That makes it more special as it can be an additional event for classmates to enjoy for our 55th Weekend. You can go to the game and then stop by the Spring Inn later or watch the game on the big screen at the Inn! Both teams have been very successful these past few years and it should be a great game to watch.

A special congratulations to fellow classmate and reunion committee member, Brent Johnston. He has received the Hinsdale Central HS. Hall of Fame Award this past weekend. Well deserved Brent. Brent is also a member of the Illinois High School and College Driver Education Hall of Fame! Way to go!

Good morning classmates. We have one correction on our schedule of activities for our 55th Reunion weekend this October. We originally had the York Dukes football game marked down as Saturday, Oct. 17th at Glenbard West. However, the scheduled game is actually Friday night, October 16th at Lyons Twp. The Spring Inn will have the game on their big screen TVs for us or you can go to the game and come back over to the Spring Inn and join the group afterwards. Just wanted to give a "heads up."

Good morning classmates. We have one correction to announce on the activities planned for our 55th Reunion event. We originally put the York Dukes vs. Glenbard West football game for Saturday, October, 17th at Glen Ellyn. That is not the case. The Dukes will visit Lyons Township at LT on Friday, October, 16th. The Spring Inn will have the game on their big screens to be able to watch the game or, if you are a big football fan, you can go to the game and come by the Spring Inn after a Dukes victory! Please make a note of the change in the activities.

Plans for the York High School Class of 1971 55th Reunion continue to be refined. There will be activities on two days in October 2026, approximately 7 months from now.

While less formal than our 50th celebration, this still presents a great opportunity to get together with friends you may not have seen in a long time.
