This free event is an opportunity for high school students, parents, caregivers, school staff, and community stakeholders to come together, share concerns, ask questions, and learn how we can better support the well being of youth in our schools and communities.

Youth Advisory Meeting:
The Youth Advisory Meeting will be focused on wellness, self-care, and positive youth engagement. Participants will take part in fun and interactive activities designed to promote well-being, strengthen peer connections, and create a supportive environment where youth can relax, have fun, and build meaningful relationships.

Please note: This meeting is open only to youth in grades 6–12, as we strive to create a safe space where students feel comfortable sharing their opinions. If you are a stakeholder or community member, we encourage you to share this information with the youth in your network.

Youth will learn about stress, self-care, healthy coping skills, and the importance of seeking support. We will also participate in activities that promote awareness and overall wellness.

At NJ 4S, we recognize that mental health is just as important as physical health—and every story, every struggle, and every healing journey matters. This Mental Health Awareness Month, we stand with our communities to remind you: you are not alone. It’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to ask for help. And it’s powerful to prioritize your well-being. Take time for yourself and take time to support others.

Yesterday our team participated in a resource fair through at their Behavioral Health Building at RCSJ. Through our NJ4S regional hubs in Atlantic, Cape May, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Salem counties, we are dedicated to moving forward by supporting youth mental wellness and preventing challenges like bullying and substance use before they start. We thank our many partners for their continued support and trust in us and our services.
