Appel Farm Arts Camp

A gender inclusive, overnight, arts camp for ages 8-16. Our campers, ages 7-17 years old, come together for an overnight camp experience they won't forget!

For more than 60 years, summers at Appel Farm have sparked the imaginations of thousands of young people as they interacted with artists from around the world in a beautiful part of rural southern New Jersey. Safety, Community, Personal Growth, and Fun have always guided our program and continue to ensure that every child experiences a summer that will last a lifetime.

Camp 2026 is off to a great start!!✨ Yesterday we welcomed over 150 campers to Appel Farm to kick off our 66th summer! While the weather was less than ideal we were able to move the festivities inside and keep the party going. At our Welcome Carnival, campers were able to play games, connect with old and new friends, and let their creativity run wild🌈

We are a little damp, but our hearts are so full! We are so excited for another wonderful summer at Appel Farm. The sun is shining today and everyone is happy and healthy☀ We are so grateful🩷

Today our staff got to visit Sea Isle City to train and get prepared for Beach Day when campers arrive!! And of course we had lot of fun along the way!

Beach Day is one of Appel Farm’s long standing traditions and just so happens to be one of our FAVORITES!! We can’t wait to enjoy beach days with our campers very very soon!!☀️🌊🏖️

"I’m so excited to return to camp this summer and see old friends and make new ones! Plus, I have some exciting Dansical plans up my sleeve—stay tuned!

After camp, I’ll be going to Scotland to direct a show in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival! I just finished my first year of my Masters degree program to become a certified theater teacher. I have one year to go!"

We’re looking for a creative leader with darkroom experience to run our Photography Department—mentoring staff, leading classes, and making camp magic happen.
