I figured I would introduce a few more of our rescued felines since I posted about Cleo the other day!

These two boys are our resident barn cats, Toast and Forty. Toast was found underweight and crusty in a Tractor Supply parking lot as a kitten in 2022. Forty was trapped behind a local diner as a kitten in September of 2025 after Kate spotted him hiding in the bushes. He was also very underweight, crusty and scared. Forty has done a complete 180 in the time we’ve had him, he loves attention from humans and has even made friends with some of our dogs.
Very glad we were able to get these two healthy and give them a home here. ❤️

Forty looks so good now, it’s crazy to look back on photos from the fall. He is the darker cat, Toast is the orange one.
Toast was the cutest kitten lol

Sometimes, we check to see if Splat is still breathing when he’s napping in the grass. Other times, he interrupts lessons to do this and reminds us that he is still very much alive.

It’s Splat’s world, we’re just living in it.✌🏻

(Someone also pointed out his perfect lead change..not too bad for an old guy with navicular! Lol)

This is “Cleocatra” better known as “Cleo”, one of our 6 rescued cats. She was a TNR cat at a local processing plant and when the colony was being dispersed she ended up with us. We were originally told that she wasn’t friendly and would do best as an outdoor/barn cat, but to our surprise she was actually very sweet and preferred being in the house. Cleo is a total love bug. ❤️

Swipe to the end to see Cleo the day we picked her up back in 2020!

Sunday s**t list - there really is never a dull moment 😅

We still haven’t figured out how Minnie managed to unzip the bed without tearing it…

Day 3 of fat camp and Pollo has broken through the fence twice so far…if he has a shot list, we are on it.

Jethro and Indy didn’t even make the list because they would never. I have a strong feeling it was suspect #1 & #2 🤔

Blanket is off, back is scratched, Queso is ready for the day ✌🏻

Holly has the BIGGEST attitude…and we love her for it ❤️

Margo wanted a ride but the seat wasn’t big enough…good thing there’s a hole in the back 😬

At least they are happy though, right? Cows are something else..🤦🏼‍♀️🫠

Each round bale for the cows costs $100
They go through about 3 bales per week.
A hay feeder for the cows would ruin their fun but it would save some of that wasted hay that they love to play in…

If anyone would like to make a tax deductible donation towards round bales or a hay feeder, I’ll leave the links below! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
