She has also served faithfully in various ministries and food banks, consistently demonstrating compassion, integrity, and a heart for people.

Annette’s passion lies in community outreach, business development, and expanding financial literacy—particularly among underserved populations. Honoring the Legacy and Leadership of Pamella Mason
Today, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Pamella Mason, a woman whose journey reflects the very heart of Virtuous Women. Pamella and her children became our first family in the Virtuous Women Housing and Counseling Program in 1999, marking the beginning of a vision that has now touched countless lives. Her courage to step forward, trust the process, and allow Virtuous Women to walk alongside her family helped lay the foundation for the work we continue today.

Pamella later returned to participate in the Virtuous Women Business Development Program, where she embraced her gifts, sharpened her skills, and prepared to build something greater for her family and community. Today, she stands as the Founder of Sista Chosen, a thriving nonprofit organization, as well as the owner of a trucking company and a consulting firm—all birthed from her resilience, faith, and unwavering determination.

Her story is a powerful reminder of what happens when a woman is given support, opportunity, and a safe place to grow. Pamella, thank you for entrusting yourself and your children to Virtuous Women in those early years. Your success is a testament to your strength, your vision, and your commitment to generational transformation. Celebrating the Journey of Shelby Tucker

Today, I want to extend heartfelt gratitude to Shelby Tucker for entrusting Virtuous Women to be an incubator for the trajectory of her life, her purpose, and her family’s legacy. Shelby first came to Virtuous Women in 2001 as a recipient of our Housing and Counseling Program. Even then, her resilience, faith, and determination were unmistakable.

In 2015, she returned—this time ready to build, grow, and expand. Through the Virtuous Women of Excellence Small Business Development Course, Shelby stepped boldly into entrepreneurship and launched a family-owned trucking company that continues to thrive. Her commitment to generational advancement is a powerful reflection of what happens when opportunity meets vision.

Today, Shelby stands as a Licensed Evangelist and Business Owner, walking in purpose and leading her family with strength and grace. Her story is a testament to what empowerment, faith, and community support can produce.
