Happy Sunday God’s faithful people. I pray this few words will encourage you in your walk with our Lord and Savior.

Today I call your attention to the unbreakable law of sowing and reaping. It's not merely a principle of agriculture, but of life itself, profoundly stated in Galatians 6:7-10. This passage reminds us that we cannot outsmart the divine order; whatever we plant in the soil of our lives, we will ultimately harvest.

The apostle Paul makes it very clear: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers."

This isn't a complex metaphor; it's a stark reality. You wouldn't expect to plant an apple seed and gather grapes. Likewise, our daily actions, thoughts, and attitudes are seeds continually being sown into the fabric of our existence. The crucial question facing each of us today is: What kind of harvest are you cultivating?

Pause for a moment and reflect on the 'seeds' you might be planting without full awareness. Do you find yourself nurturing attitudes like:
* **Anger and Resentment:** Allowing grievances to fester and define your interactions.
* **Envy and Jealousy:** Looking at others' blessings with bitterness rather than gratitude.
* **Strife and Backbiting:** Engaging in gossip or creating divisions through critical words.
* **Impatience and Disobedience:** Prioritizing immediate gratification over spiritual discipline or divine guidance.

These are the seeds of discord, and their inevitable harvest is a bitter crop of isolation, internal turmoil, and fractured relationships, not just for you, but for those closest to you. They erode peace and stifle joy, leading to a landscape of regret and destruction, for you and your generation.

However, there are other types of seeds waiting for us to sow. Imagine sowing:
* **Love and Kindness:** Extending compassion and grace to those around you, even when it's challenging.
* **Forgiveness and Patience:** Releasing past hurts and offering understanding, mirroring God's grace.
* **Giving and Generosity:** Sharing your time, resources, and spirit freely with others.
* **Peace and Humility:** Seeking harmony and acknowledging your place in God's grand design.
* **Forbearance and Obedience:** Exercising self-control and aligning your will with divine wisdom.

These are the seeds of life, and their yield is a bountiful harvest of profound joy, enduring peace, and an abundant life that transcends circumstances. More powerfully still, this harvest doesn't stop with you; its blessings flow forward, enriching your children and even your children's children, creating a legacy of faith and goodness.

So, let this be an invitation for deep introspection. Gaze honestly into the garden of your heart and life. What seeds are truly taking root and flourishing there? If you discover you've been inadvertently planting seeds that promise a harvest of destruction, please understand this: it is never too late to change course. The soil of your life can be tilled anew. Through prayer, repentance, and a renewed commitment to walk with our Heavenly Father, you can begin to discard those destructive seeds and intentionally cultivate a garden overflowing with the fruits of joy, peace, and abundant life. Seek His guidance and grace to sow wisely, for your future, and the future of generations to come, depends on it.

Love
