Eagle's Nest Ranch - Colorado

Eagle's Nest Ranch - Colorado Eagle's Nest Ranch is a non-profit horse ranch ministry that provides Life Support for our Nation's Heroes. We believe that every life has meaning.

Eagle’s Nest Ranch is a 501c3 equine ministry in beautiful Elizabeth, CO serving civilian families in crisis, veterans, active duty military, first responders and their families. We help both children and adults soar above adversity through an amazing connection with horses. Life is hard today, and harder to work through on your own. We have helped people as they struggle to overcome PTSD, grief,

and divorce to mention just a few of life's traumas. Our mission is to serve those struggling with the invisible wounds of life- whatever the circumstances. We promote emotional healing in a safe environment through our SOAR program, Healing Horses for the Armed Forces and special
events such as Buckaroo Days for our first responder families. These programs are meant to build trust, renew hope, and lead to experiencing growth that draws one closer to GOD’s unconditional love. Horses connect with us as they respond to our behavior and emotions. Working with them, We gain understanding of ourselves and how we interact with others, which helps break down walls we have built in our hearts and lives. If we are willing, JESUS CHRIST will use this unique connection to lead us into truth and freedom, and bring healing . There is never a charge for our sessions or time at the Ranch. We are a primarily volunteer run organization, with a small staff. We always welcome people and organizations looking to join our mission to serve and bring healing to our community. Would you like to learn more about the Ranch? Please check out our website, or call for an appointment to come and discuss how you can become involved either as a volunteer, or partnering with us financially. AT EAGLE’S NEST RANCH WE BELIEVE THAT NO
MATTER HOW DARK THE DAY IS, THERE IS always hope.

The Horses for Mental Health campaign ends today. If you have wanted to participate, but haven't yet, there is still time to be a part of our outreach to support the veterans and first responders we serve. Operating on God's promise that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, means we invite the Lord into every session and offer His hope. AND we get to do that with horses. I can't think of a better way to spend our money and time. We invite you to be a part of hope and healing at https://horsesformentalhealth.org/campaigns/eagles-nest-ranch/

The differences of these designated days is important. Although it is a holiday weekend that we spend with family and friends, let us remember and honor those who gave their life in service to our country. It is not Happy Memorial Day. Let us remember the Gold Star families who lost a loved one in battle.

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

We remember and honor those who have died in the line of duty. We pray for the family members left behind. "Thank you" isn't enough to express our gratitude for their sacrifice on our behalf. We respect, honor and remember. Never forget the cost.
