Terolyn Horse Rescue, inc. We are a private, non-profit 501(c)3 horse rescue. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome horses. At Terolyn Horse Rescue, inc.

our mission is to help at-risk horses that have been abused, abandoned, or neglected. Many of the horses we rescue have been sent through the livestock auctions. We give them a home where they are loved and cared for until we can find them suitable forever homes. Those who wish to adopt these horses are carefully screened prior to placement. We work tirelessly to ensure the health and safety of the animals we rescue. We were founded in 2015 for the purpose of helping as many horses as possible through tax-deductible donations and with the help of our volunteers. We were honored to have been selected for a 7Everyday Hero Award from Denver's Channel 7 in 2016 and we have been named a Top Rated Rescue on Guidestar. Please contact us at (303)243-1147 if you are interested in volunteering or adopting. To make a tax-deductible donation to this 501(c)(3) organization, please send via PayPal using our account at [email protected]. Be sure to provide your email address in the memo section so a receipt for your donation can be sent to you.

💗Harley is growing up! 🥹

Weaning time is always hard for us, but we try to make the transition as easy for the foal as possible by keeping their moms right beside them so they can still sneak in a little nursing while learning to be more independent. You can see Harley’s mama in the pen behind her, keeping a watchful eye on her little girl. 💕

Harley has been going out for turnout with our youngster Jaci, and we’re hoping that once our newest little filly is feeling better, the three of them can stay together and become best friends! 🤞 up

💗A little Riff update!💗

Riff continues to heal and is doing well! He couldn’t be in better hands than the amazing team at Iron Horse Equine Medical and Surgical Services. We are so thankful for the love, patience, and care they give our boy every day.

Vet tech Alexa caught Riff using his “pillows” and offered him a human pillow, which he happily accepted. It’s little moments like these that make our hearts happy, knowing he’s comfortable, loved, and getting the very best care as he continues to heal.

Sweet Riff, you have so many people cheering you on and rooting for you every step of the way. We love you!💕

A big thank you to Dan Daru and his cameraman, Cody, with FOX31 for taking the time to visit this week, meet our horses, and shine a spotlight on the important work we do at Terolyn Horse Rescue! We had a great time showing them around and introducing them to the real stars of the show… our horses! 🐴

We are a 100% volunteer-run rescue, and our volunteers are truly the heart of what we do. We are so grateful for our amazing team and the donors who make it possible to give horses a second chance!

Want to be part of our mission? We’d love your support through donations or volunteering!

And a special thank you to Kate for making this happen and everything you do to help our horses!💕

Since 2015, the Terolyn Horse Rescue has saved over four hundred horses from livestock auctions, where they are sold for their meat.

Thank you to everyone who showed up at our Tack Sale and Fundraiser today! With all of your purchases and generous donations, we raised nearly $4000 for Riff’s medical expenses!

We had a great time seeing all the familiar faces and meeting some new ones. Our rescue horses enjoyed the extra attention and TLC.

A big HUGE thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a success.

We truly appreciate all of the support!
