This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Their courage and commitment continue to protect the freedoms we experience every day, and we recognize the families, loved ones, and communities who carry their legacy forward.

As we spend time with family, friends, and our communities this weekend, we pause to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and express our gratitude to those who gave their lives in service to others. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

♿ ♿ Mobility Awareness Month is about accessibility! ♿ ♿

Being able to move through your day without barriers shouldn’t be something people have to work around or plan their life around.

At CAU, that means thinking about how people actually experience spaces, what makes things harder than they need to be, and what it takes to fix it. The goal is simple, make it easier for people to show up, get where they need to go, and be part of their community without extra obstacles.

🌍 Global Accessibility Awareness Day is a good moment to take a closer look at the spaces we move through every day.

A lot of what we call “normal” just works for some people and not for others. That gap is where people get left out.

Think about things like a website that doesn’t work with screen readers, an event without captions or ASL interpretation, a building with stairs but no ramp, or forms that are hard to understand or navigate.

Accessibility should be the baseline. If someone has to ask for access, something was likely missed!

Community Access Unlimited is glad to share an upcoming Interfaith Potluck Dinner hosted in Cranford. It’s an opportunity for people of different backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences to connect in a welcoming and open setting.

At Community Access Unlimited, the focus is making sure people have real support when they need it, not just in moments of crisis, but in everyday life. Spaces where people feel comfortable speaking up and actually being heard.

Deaf Awareness Week is a reminder that communication goes beyond sound.

At Community Access Unlimited, we believe in building spaces where everyone can connect, express themselves, and be understood, without barriers.

Deaf and hard of hearing individuals bring valuable perspectives, culture, and language to our communities. Creating true inclusion means expanding access, embracing different ways of communicating, and making sure every voice is recognized.
