The 313+ Ancestors Speak Project honors the lives, history, and legacy of the 313+ ancestors buried in Elizabeth, NJ — preserving a story that deserves to be seen, shared, and carried forward.

As Elizabeth prepares to commemorate America’s 250th, this legacy belongs at the center of the conversation. Because Elizabeth’s history is America’s history.

This isn’t just a tournament. It’s a commitment to the work of the 313+ Ancestors Speak Project—honoring 313+ enslaved and free African ancestors buried on the grounds of Siloam-Hope First Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, NJ through memorialization, research, and story.
