What a week. I'm still riding the high from , and I can't wait to share it with all of you.
The science was electric. Clinical trials in ARDS are advancing in ways that genuinely give me hope — not just as an advocate, but as a patient. Seeing an entire panel at RIS dedicated to Critical Care, with ARDS at the center of every conversation, felt like a turning point.
I had the privilege of THREE speaking engagements this year — and one of them was my first time ever speaking as a patient. I wasn't a researcher behind a podium or a name on a program. I was a person who lived this disease, sharing that story in a room full of the people working to change its future. I will never forget that moment.
The connections made this week — new industry friends, fellow patients, world-class clinicians and researchers — reminded me exactly why this community is so special. The hallway conversations, the dinners, the late nights talking about what's next... that's where the real magic happens.
And as I look ahead to becoming Chair of the Public Advisory Roundtable in 2027, I feel more ready and more motivated than ever. There is so much work to do — and I am so grateful to be doing it alongside all of you. 💙
