When lungs need time, ECMO is more than a machine—it gives the body a chance to heal.

It supports the heart and lungs, giving the body the rest it needs.

Together, we bring hope and strength to every fight for breath.

Support. Watching a loved one in the ICU can feel overwhelming, but caring for yourself matters too. Take moments for your own well-being, lean on community, and seek guidance. You do not have to face this alone.

Recovery after critical illness can take time.

It is more than physical healing. Many survivors also face anxiety, depression, or PTSD.

Support from others can help. A group that understands can bring hope and practical guidance.

Key points:
• Recovery may take weeks, months, or years.
• Emotional healing matters too.
• Support groups can make a real difference.

If you support someone on this path, patience and compassion matter. If you are recovering, community can help you feel less alone.

What step will you take today to support healing?

ARDS can worsen fast because severe inflammation can overwhelm the lungs. Early signs matter. If you or a loved one is struggling, seek urgent care and know support is here.

What a week. I'm still riding the high from , and I can't wait to share it with all of you.
The science was electric. Clinical trials in ARDS are advancing in ways that genuinely give me hope — not just as an advocate, but as a patient. Seeing an entire panel at RIS dedicated to Critical Care, with ARDS at the center of every conversation, felt like a turning point.
I had the privilege of THREE speaking engagements this year — and one of them was my first time ever speaking as a patient. I wasn't a researcher behind a podium or a name on a program. I was a person who lived this disease, sharing that story in a room full of the people working to change its future. I will never forget that moment.
The connections made this week — new industry friends, fellow patients, world-class clinicians and researchers — reminded me exactly why this community is so special. The hallway conversations, the dinners, the late nights talking about what's next... that's where the real magic happens.
And as I look ahead to becoming Chair of the Public Advisory Roundtable in 2027, I feel more ready and more motivated than ever. There is so much work to do — and I am so grateful to be doing it alongside all of you. 💙
