Thank you to all who came out to our BBQ Fundraiser. We had a great turnout and the weather wasn’t too unpleasant. Thanks to Randall Koehn for smoking the pork and everyone for bringing side dishes ( and an abundance of watermelon). It all made for a great evening.
Between our raffle prizes and the generous donations from everyone, we were able to raise approximately $2,200. These funds will go towards much needed repairs on the roof and soffits, plus other things to keep the museum going. Thank you for your continued support and for more information please message us.

We are currently in the process of nominating the Catholic School building to be added to The National Register of Historic Places. But we need your help,
In order for the nomination to be considered we have to state how the building has historically impacted the area. So we are asking anyone who might have pictures or stories that show how they, their family, friends or the community in whole have been impacted by the school.

The Catholic School building in Burns was built in 1882 by a group of Catholic German immigrants, mostly from Ohio. It was the second commercial building erected in town and was the first Masson building erected. It functioned as the first place of worship for the Catholic community until a new church was built just to the south, it than became the Catholic School. Most of the Catholic children attended Sunday School there. Unfortunately the school building has fallen into disrepair, but getting it put on The National Register could help the community preserve it.
So any support could make a meaningful impact.
If you have anything to share you can post on this page. For additional information you can message or email us at: [email protected]
