Miss Rosie is just a couple days shy of being a month old and is now weighing in at 105 pounds! Our animal science class is responsible for her care, including weekend feeding, baths, and lots of raking up manure. They are also working on their animal handling skills including how to halter and lead a calf, which is a new experience for many.

Rosie enjoys long walks near the practice field and being serenaded every morning by the Eldon band.

We hosted the Area 8 Greenhand Conference tonight for 25 area schools. Our own chapter had about 41 first year members in attendance, learning about opportunities in the FFA and how to maximize their own experience from area officers, including our own president, Sam Naught.

Hog Roast 2026 was a huge success! Thank you to all who bought tickets, magazine ads, and students in our labor auction! We appreciate the amazing community support that allows our members incredible experiences and helps us to better serve our school and community. We had many students taking photos that we will share this week. This morning we want to share the labor auction pics. Thanks again for all our students who participated in the auction and those purchasing.
