The 4-H Nobles Club is located in Eldon and serves the surrounding area. Meetings are held on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 3 p.m., at Bethany Lutheran Church and meeting last about 1 hour 30 mins. Our meetings are conducted by youth members under the guidance of a club leader and advisor. Nobles is considered a strong family based club and parents and younger siblings are encouraged to attend.
The projects are very diversified and include projects from livestock, shooting sports, woodworking, to photography, gardening, arts and crafts, and several other projects in between. We , also, work with children 5 years through 7 years of age called Clover Kids who can work on projects and receive training that lays the foundation for being an active 4-H member when they turn 8 years of age. Parents and other adults that have knowledge in project areas serve as project leaders. Nobles 4-H give service to the community and surrounding by placing flags on the graves of veterans at Memorial Day, visiting elderly shut-ins and singing Carols at Christmas, and by donating food & shopping for groceries to put together a scrumptious food basket during the holidays. We have fun at our meetings and celebrate monthly holidays with games and snacks, as well as, having a summer family picnic, a Family Soup and Chili Supper in January and other fun outings. If you would like to join 4-H or have questions, please call one of our leaders: Theresa Upton (573)552-2286; Sunni West (573)286-0913 or Kim Kaibel (573)552-5252.
