Canadian County OSU Extension is partnering up with the Cheyenne - Arapaho Department of Health to bring Canadian County a FREE babysitting workshop.
Come join us for a fun-filled day to learn about everything you need to know to be a babysitter your neighbors will want to hire, CPR certification included!

Join us either on June 17th or June 24th from 9am-1pm at 220 N. Country Club Rd. El Reno, OK 73036
$20 enrollment per child (Ages 6-10), spots are limited to the first 20 fully registered and paid youth. (Cash, check payments are encouraged, and credit card payments are accepted and can be processed over the phone if needed)

This one-day workshop will give youth a basic understanding of nutrition, the art of cooking, and preparing their own food.

Become a State 4-H Healthy Living Ambassador – Cathy Allen

Do you have a passion for health, fitness, nutrition, mental wellness, or helping others live healthier lives? If so, consider applying to become an Oklahoma 4-H Healthy Living Ambassador!

Healthy Living Ambassadors serve as youth leaders and advocates for wellness across Oklahoma. Team members work together to promote healthy living, support county and state 4-H programs, plan educational activities, attend leadership trainings, and make a positive impact in their communities. Ambassadors also have opportunities to participate in retreats, statewide events, and other leadership experiences.

Applications are due June 30, 2026, and the team is open to Oklahoma 4-H members who will be high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors during the upcoming school year. Current Healthy Living Ambassadors need to apply each year. If you're ready to grow your leadership skills, make new friends, and be a voice for healthy living, we encourage you to apply!
