Today was our last day of camp for the summer of 2022.😪We have had a challenging season this year, but with the support of our community, we were able to create a great summer for our campers and our end of year party was a success thanks to so many local companies. Thank you to our local McDonald's, Taco Bell, Subway, Pizza Express, Little Ceasars, Robert's Grill and Sid's Diner for feeding our students, their families and friends who showed up to celebrate with them. Thank you to the El Reno Arts Council for a fun end of year project. Thank you to Bob and Cliffornia Rolle for the back packs and so many yummy meals this summer. Thank you to our awesome parents and families.

Friday funday!!! Our last minute trip to the movie theater was great. Thank you to all who gave. We were able to visit the park early enough to beat the heat, attend a showing of Minion Rise of Gru and have lunch at CiCi's. Again thanks! Please know you are helping our students make great memories and building El Reno's future.

Yesterday we visited Concho and listened to the tale of the buffalo, eagle, and the magpie in the Great Race. Thank you Max Bear for sharing a part of your culture with us. Also thank you to the Edmond Historical Society & Museum for hosting us at last minute. They allowed our students to peer into the past and get a glimpse of what life was like well before their time.

We need your help. Due to the unsafe temperatures, our last few field trips must be changed to indoor experiences. We have managed to find some free trips but need help with others. We would like to go to the movies and treat all 20 of our students to snacks. Any donation to this awesome group of students would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be drop off at 1412 South Dille or delivered to BankFirst under our name. Please comment below as we would be happy to pick up any donation as well.

After a great holiday break, we are back to business. Today we welcomed Dr.White as our guest speaker. He opened up our EYES to the world of optometry. With great vision, we were able to create awesome friendship paintings, and we talked about teamwork and cooperation during overcoming obstacles.
