YFS is looking for ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐๐๐๐น๐ถ๐๐๐ to volunteer at our ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ-๐๐ผ-๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐๐ต, serving children in our emergency shelter, foster care, counseling programs, and other supportive services.
For many of these kids, a fresh haircut is more than just a haircutโitโs a confidence boost, a reason to smile, and a chance to walk into the first day of school feeling proud and ready to succeed. By donating just a couple of hours of your time, you can make a lasting difference in a child's life.
We're also seeking ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ to help make the event a success! Opportunities may include:
๐ Assisting with bounce houses and activities
๐ธ Helping organize the school photo line
๐งญ Directing children and parents to resources and services
๐ญ Assisting with food and event logistics
๐ Providing a welcoming, encouraging presence throughout the event
๐ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ ๐ต๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ ๐บ๐ฎ๐ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐บ ๐น๐ถ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐บ๐๐ฐ๐ต, ๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐น, ๐ถ๐ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ด. The confidence of a fresh haircut, the excitement of a fun event, and the encouragement of a caring community can make all the difference as they begin a new school year.
