While we may be the portion the serves families impacted by foster care these truly your donated items go across the area to help others like us serve different groups in need. Normally our director is wearing a CALL shirt but today is special! Major shout out to Delek US for their generous sponsorship for The CALL Classic and all that they’ve done for families impacted by foster care! As an extra thank you our Director stepped in to play ball for them this co-ed season so they’d have enough girls….we aren’t sure if it’s an ungrade but it’s biggest thank you we could think of for the way they provided the gifts for families in foster care this past Christmas and allowed us to serve our community more than ever before! Thank you Delek for loving the community you’re in so big and supporting families impacted by foster care!

“What does my donation ACTUALLLY go to?” This. This right here. Two little girls being placed locally needing a pair of nice shoes and tennis shoes. There’s no big machine. It’s us walking in with donations from Murmil Heights Baptist Church today to the local Rhea Lana's of El Dorado having great deals and quality items that we couldn’t necessarily get a full price and being blessed so we can extend the blessing. Your donations go to these real moments. That are simple and small. Filling needs when we don’t have them on hand and blessing people and children in the most uncertain moments. Taking away burdens while they serve the least of these. It’s us, all of us being the village.

Foster care is local missions.

Christians are called to care for the fatherless and vulnerable. Today, foster care is one of the ways the Church can live out that calling in a very real and tangible way.

But knowing 𝘩𝘰𝘸 to step into foster care can feel overwhelming. That’s where The CALL comes in.

We're here to equip local churches to support children and families impacted by foster care.

That can look different in every community. It might look like calling families to open their homes, rallying around foster families through Care Teams, creating spaces for prayer and encouragement, or supporting the mission through donations. The CALL walks alongside local churches, helping them engage in foster care ministry in ways that fit their people, resources, and community.
